I moved with my family to TCI over 10 years ago. We had lived in Asia for 6 years, had moved back to the UK but had a yearning to travel again to exotic places. Turks & Caicos beckoned and the rest is history. One of my biggest concerns at the time was whether there would be enough to keep us occupied. Would we be bored? That thought soon vanished as Turks & Caicos (even though it is still relatively quiet compared to other islands) had plenty on the social menu to keep my husband and I busy on a regular basis... We are surrounded by 5 star resorts offering competitive restaurants to match any other. Grace Bay in particular has a fine selection of Meditterrian/Thai/Japanese/Jamaican/Irish/Mexican and even North African fare. The new wine bar offers an excellent choice of quality wines and it has quickly become a meeting place for both residents and tourists alike. If you still have enough energy Niki Beach is open until the early hours where you can mingle with the beautiful people and sip cocktails while dancing to the tunes of our local DJ. Restaurants are mostly child friendly and their menus contain a selection of healthy food. I love the fact our children are not subjected to the daily pressure of eating fast food and have have become quite the restaurant connoisseurs! Absolutely loads for any family to keep their kids happy for hours on end, endless white sandy beaches, safe waters, banana boat, sailing, wind surfing, mini golf, ATV's, horse riding (a favorite of our family), the list is endless.... Hope if you visit TCI you will enjoy it as much as we do...

HI Mimi
Yes, I'm intimately familiar with the Provo wine club and I've had the pleasure of visiting Ambergris Cay recently with my daughters who were part of a photo shoot there -that is the content for my next bolg!
